This feature could definitely come in handy for emergency use, undoubtedly. If you are in unfamiliar surroundings and breakdown in your car, experience or witness an accident, My Location would serve as a "life saver" to contact authorities to locate your whereabouts. Anything is possible these days, and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see the next headlines read: "Google's "My Location" saves a carload of stranded SEOs" ...so I'm no journalist, but you get the point.
