gmail isnt that hard to get people. Gmail is giving away invites like candy. I already have 6. Just go on a site like http://www.livejounral.com search by interest for gmail and theres at least 5 communities that give away like 12 invites a day. just use your brain people, thats what its there for.

The notification is nifty. The image in the system tray is kind of ugly, maybe they’ll change it eventually? Anyway, I have a couple gmail invites if anyone is interested. Just be polite and I’ll send it to you…

Gmails’ not really that big of a deal. It’s people like Larry that are making the service appear to be way hotter than it really is. If you feel slighed, by their “clever” marketing tactic, then when the service hits primetime, don’t dignify it by getting an account. I use it and have problems logging in from time to time and use Yahoo as a backup.

Well Larry… GMail still has many bugs and limitations which leads to it being still in beta phase. They are just fixing it to prevent public outcry once it is available to open public… That is not bad! Is not it?

Seems as if it would be a great thing if people could actually get gmail. Google is turning people off by teasing them like this. Gmail has been available to the select few for quite a long time, yet they still haven’t made it available to the rest of us, who have to read about the service and feel like we’re living in the middle ages, where the nobility get access and the peasants don’t.
