Google GMail outages were reported last week, with a massive outage on Thursday which took Google 24 hours to recover.
Today I am trying to log into my GMail account, which I use for about everything apps, docs, and GMail related, and am receiving this message :
Sorry, your account has been disabled.
Google will not let me recover my GMail account. They are not letting me go through a series of captchas like their Google Accounts Help page says they will.
Instead, Google has blocked or disabled my account, for no reason I can find, and will not let me log in.
Google, please inform me of why my account has been blocked and why I no longer have access to my Google Docs, GMail and files saved on the Google Network.

This happened to me yesterday. Panicked. No way to resolve the issue. Wrote Google an email about the problem.
This morning, I got an apology from Google, and my account is activated again.

Mine accounts (plural) are disabled over 24 hours, It’s not my fault if someone chooses to steal my passwords and crack my system, I have written to Google, ISP, Police and so on as I too have 4 years of extremely important data wiped, maliciously. It is a crime and Google, I hope will treat this as such and catch the perps, not punish the innocent, and I would suggest informing them you’ve changed and upgraded all security settings and if using Firefox. keep a master password (and check password strengths and symbols!) ..back to Hotmail?
Has anyone got an address for Google please? I need to send them a ‘letter before action’and take them to court to ensure they do remove my details and mails, etc.,. Firefox needs to warn it’s users NOT to store passwords – seriosly bad stuff going on GMAIL, it is wrong Google, you used to the good-guys, now you are not looking that way. What a shame this is. Really bad. I lost so much I am under sedation, I will never use a Google product again as long as I live.

It’s now night of April 24, 2009.
I know it’s free but is also costly when one cannot get into account.
Yesterday, May 07, 2009, my gmail account has been disabled. i have filled the security form also with alternate mail id. I got a mail saying, your account cannot be enabled at this time, and asked me to give exact information to retrieve the account back. I opened gmail account 3 years back, now i am unable to access all my personal mails and all.

good news.. my gmail account has been enabled by the google team.
last thursday, i.e 07/05/09, my gmail account has been disabled. i have sent the open letter to google team giving all the information like, when i opened the gmail account, what all they have asked. i gave correct information, after that they have re-enabled my account. now i am able to access my old 10000 mails.
please any of your’s gmail account has been disabled, send a filled security form to google team with all the information correctly. They will sure re-enable your account.

Yesterday, May 12, 2009, my gmail account has been disabled. Last time on 12th may i logged in successfully into my account, but when i tried after three hours i could not able to logon. i was getting a message saying user username or password could be wrong.i have filled the security form also with alternate mail id. From last 3 weeks i am reporting google on daily basis that my gmail account is accidentally disabled because i am using gmail from last 4 years and i never violated google TOC. but they never replies or responded to me, and i am stuck. i dont have backup of email and contacts. i am frustrated with google and their services and i am now using yahoo and hotmail and i will suggest never ever use gmail it will be disabled any time without notice. some users said if you never clicked on relative ads in gmail your account gets disabled becuase google dont get any money from you.

Today I just astounded found that my account has been disabled!!! I am filling the form but don’t know the result. The email account is my most important account.
My gmail got recovered now. I strongly suggested that anyone has the similar situation to check the second email address linked to the gmail. You may find a link to recover your password.

Looks like someone messed with my account in order to get access to my online gaming account. So they must have done something to get my gmail disabled. But of course…Google doesn’t respond to these issues so I guess I need to switch to a different email account. I really wish Google would make an effort to respond.
