I’ve gotten good traffic and good results on google for certain posts because of technorati though, so I guess I can’t be too annoyed.

Does Google knows that they are serving irrelevant results while claiming these irrelevancy are created by paid links? They are going against paid links but forget about blog spammers out there. After this blog spammers, there will be article spammers, forum spammers and so on. This is never going to stop.

Technorati is a good site fighting the same battles as others. Also on the “Yahoo loves Netscape”, I wasn’t of that but will check it out.

Technorati works fine for me. But of late I see a lot of backlog on their site. After I tag them with my keywords from my blog (http://johnpmathew.blogspot.com) it takes a long time for the tags to register on Technorati. Don’t know why this happens.

It’s just another example of this “trust factor” getting out of control and how easily spammers can manipulate it.

I have noticed that it has gotten real bad the past 2 months. I have had to start monitoring my comments on my blog because of all of the spamming. Great Post!

I guess I missed the boat, because all the times I was on technorati, I never bothered to click the popular tab…. I’ve gotten good traffic and good results on google for certain posts because of technorati though, so I guess I can’t be too annoyed.
