Google calendar has event public viewing and I want to use this on my website. you can use inserted HTML in your webpage and it loads up a somplified Goolgle Calendar view.
I would like the event viewer (when you click on the event) to have better HTML integration. This features makes updating a websites calendar dead easy, without the need for HTML editors, FTP, etc...
but there needs better graphics integration.

Very little elaboration on the text recognition technology here, but I would expect Google to utilize this (if they haven't already) in their web search algorithm. The idea behind it is very powerful when it comes to returning results that are most relevant to a user's search.

I feel the need to have a local client NOTIFIER that is not dependant upon my browser being open to Gcalendar. I am terrified that I will miss an event due to accidentally closing browser.

Great web app, that's for sure, but it desperately needs a way for the general public to access a read-only version of a calendar, without signing in to any Google aacount. That would be a HUGE addition to organizations, churches, schools, to be able to post easy-to-update calendars for the public to view. And then if the user viewing one of the public calendars has a Google account and is logged in, they can copy events over to their own calendar.

Where's the to-do list? I was really hoping that a Google calendar would allow me to consolidate my email, calendering, and to-do list needs all into one app. Alas, not yet.

They could make it easier to synch with Outlook. You have to make a CSV in Outlook and then upload it to the Calendar. A Pain.

Right. I love the new calendar too, but did you try searching for it?

Most of google's services get lower than expected SERP (Search Engine Results Page).

<a href="http://www.isaacbowman.com/google-sandboxes-its-own-services-with-bad-seo" rel="nofollow">Read my post regarding the issue</a>

I am also surprised that there are no "Labels" like in gmail. This was a GREAT idea that avoids duplicate entries and is basically just a form of 'tagging'. You can have numerous Calendars, all viewable from one interface, but there is no way to put one event into multiple Calendars. This limitation will make the shared Calendar feature, one that I had high hopes for, drastically more difficult.
