Google Calendar Coming : Calendar.Google.com
Google Calendar may be launching very soon as Amit Agarwal from Digital Inspiration reports that the calendar.google.com domain is live, although it is redirecting to the Google.com homepage instead of serving one of those annoying Google Server Error messages like previous pre-launch Google subdomains have.
Amit writes : It’d be nice if Google integrates calendar into GMail. Yahoo Mail already supports calendar which can also be synched with Microsoft outlook. Let’s hope gCal could be much better. Google calendar should also connect with the Calendar plugin in Google Desktop and even the TODO list plugin.
I am also looking forward to the Google Calendar program and am wondering if it will bring project management tools into its arsenal, perhaps something like Basecamp. If Google can launch a calendaring tool which complements its current Google Local, Google Base, Google Sdebar and Google Reader offerings, this may bring a reason for many GMail reluctant users to make the switch.

I’ll hardly call this post a news. Facts presented here are true for at least one month and a half even more (just before Google Reader launched)
