It is trying to use Ajax from the hosting domains to itself, which causes lots of security errors in new browsers (like Firefix 3.0.4, Safari 4, IE 7/8). If you search the net for "Security Error: Content at http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/ may not load data from ..." you see the scope of this problem. Looks like their ads code is choosing a domain randomly, so some times the ads may not even show at all because of this error - while other times you wont see the error.
