GMail Now Open to the Masses : Drops Invitations

After years of invitation only beta testing in and outside of the United States, Google GMail is now open to the public at large.

Gmail is now a public beta. Go to Gmail.com, and look for “Sign up for Gmail” or go to this page. After almost three years of invitation-only access, Gmail gradually opened in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Egypt and now everywhere.

Personally, I’ve found Google GMail to be the most efficient webmail experience, with excellent anti-spamming filters, load time, memory and one click options.

Yahoo has been working on revamping their Yahoo Mail service, which is more popular that GMail.

Google accounts, however, are growing in terms of personalized search, Blogger, Google AdSense, Google Talk and Google Docs & Spreadsheets, GMail is bound to continue to grow.
