Gigablast, everyone’s favorite non-commercialized “hey, this is like Google back in 1999″ search engine, soley owned by Matt Wells, has just made news again. Gigablast search results now include links to the Wayback Machine, showing archived versions of web pages.
For example, a search for Yahoo will show links under the results for “older copies.” Click on the link, and the Wayback Machine will show you archived Yahoo pages starting in 1996- too cool.
We’ll keep our eyes on Gigablast- a breath of fresh air in the suffocating world of Internet search.
