I don't like the idea of one company handling almost all of my private data, it's worth too much to them, breaching of policies and laws are inevitable either by Google themselves, malicious staff or hackers. I think I'll just be sticking to firefox, I have no problems with it and it enough extensions to keep me happy for a very long time. I too am worried about Google’s ever increasing empire.
