I'm not sure if you're an active Flickr user but there were a lot of users that weren't happy when Yahoo bought Flickr and forced everyone to get Yahoo IDs. Also there were a lot of people angry about Flickr adding video recently, which was Yahoo's big idea. So it's possible maybe even the founders thought Yahoo was not treating the Flickr user base well. Either way, no doubt that it hasn't been easy times lately for Jerry Yang, who's got a lot of people upset at him.
