That's what I hate about all other bookmarking products, the social aspect. I just want a place for my bookmarks to live that I don't have to sign into (I'm always signed into ggle)! And I don't want all the other stuff.

Check out middlesopt.com's mashtabs visual bookmarking interface. You can collect web pages as images, upload files and documents, and embed widgets. Visit http://mashtabs.com/ and check out the video tutorial to help get started.

Here's an example mashtab designed to be a homepage for kids:

I actually do love most of the stuff that Google do and I am a big fan of the Android OS, but I cant help thinking that Google Bookmarks is a bit boring.

It is sort of isolated and I would love to see more of the social-matching features that Delicious and stumbleupon have.

Do you think bookmarks will be mashed with Chrome or What's Popular?

I've just launched a new bookmarking tool you might find interesting at http://www.gkeeper.com. Like Google's bookmarks, it also allows you to search through the entire page contents. But it also displays snapshots of your bookmarks, most visited webpages, and recent webpages. You can also search through images and files that you come across on the web.
