Another reason for Google users to hardly ever open Microsoft Office again has sprung up as Google AdWords is now offering advertisers the option of exporting Adwords reports into Google Spreadsheets.
Barry Schwartz of Search Engine Roundtable stumbled upon this in his AdWords account and says Just go to your reports and click on the “Open as a Google spreadsheet.
While this is a nice gimmick for some, the reality is that its actually a useless tool.
The purpose of extracting the AdWords data is to manipulate and analyse trends. And currently Google spreadsheet is still far behind on these functionality compared with excel or OO.
