Before I started this blog in January I read 10 Tips to Better Blogging, which I try to follow to some extent. Since then, I have learned a lot about blogging and one important thing that is not on that list. HAVE FUN! If you are not having fun blogging, the quality of your content will not be your best and you will not blog frequently. Your readers will not enjoy reading your blog and your growth rate will be slow.
There are a lot of different ways to have fun on your blog as well as provide useful information at the same time. One way I try to have fun is Fun Friday. Lately on Fridays I have been making humor posts. I try to show you funny videos and relate them to marketing at the same time. Hopefully you get a laugh out of the videos and learn something at the same time. There are many other ways to have fun, but the overall goal is to write on stuff you like and your readers want to read.
