Unfortunately the way that this works is that they all bait the seo community by offering dofollow in the beginning so that they get an enormous amount of content from people who make money from websites for a living. Once they get popular enough they will dump the dofollow for a nodofollow attribute (try cosmic panda) What they all do is actually immoral because it means that they encouraged you to upload content in the beginning because there would be a benefit to your site/blog but later they change the rules and they now have ALL of your content which they can monetize on their site at YOUR loss. The real problem is that people don't realize that they are simply putting their own content on someone else's website. The answer is to put your best content on your OWN website and upload a load of crap to all those other sites which can be like trailers to get your audience to come to your own site which is under your control. There is a lot of deception on the net and the big companies are in no way innocent... so good luck everyone.

This does appear to be true (bing and yahoo, counting no follow links), although its unclear whether they give them the same weight. But, many video sites do not have a live link at all, so if you add a link to your video description, it does you no good at all as far as links go. And even very limited as far as viewer so since they can't click on the link and are unlikely to cut and paste the address into a browser.

Thank you for the list. I just started converting my text articles into videos and was wondering what other sites beside youtube and metacafe to use for video submission. Thanks for taking the time to find the dofollow ones.

Thanks for this useful list. Will check out the video sites. It is good to know which ones are dofollow. Is it true that Bing and Yahoo don't take note of nofollow or dofollow? In the end, every link seems to count somewhere...
