  1. An incorrect business listing can be worse than none at all. If you're going to go to the effort of putting your business details online, make sure they are correct and up to date!

  2. I agree with you Melih. Often SBO's just don't pay attention to all marketing tasks. They think that just by claiming a business (or doing another marketing task!) they solve the problem and customers/clients will rush to their website or pickup the phone to call.

    This is WRONG!

    In todays competitive markets, it is essentialy to manage a complete strategy either you are online or offline. Even better, it is wisely to integrate ONline and OFFline marketing strategies.

    This is where SBO's fail all the time… they seems to be unable to understand that on these times the only way to keep going is to find new customers even they have to invest some money.

  3. I'm always amazed at the number of listings that are not owner verified. How easy would it be for someone to get into that account and add false information that could be ruinous to that business's reputation.

  5. Local listing gives good benefits to business, if they are managed and presented in real manner but it is tough when it is not managed properly because competition is too high so any of easy work can give your business place at bottom.
