* Google Adsense API To Be Launched

By leveraging the AdSense API, sites can now allow members to create AdSense accounts and earn cash for content contributions. Members will even be able to track earning through the sites. Giant step forward for the social web.
* Internet Advertising up 38% in First Quarter

Internet Advertising revenues hit a new record of $3.9 billion in the first quarter alone. Google and Yahoo account for close to 50% of the total spend.
* Ask launches Blog & Feed Search

Ask rolled out a new blog & feed search tool. This comes about a year after purchasing Bloglines. I’ve given the new search tool a couple test runs and I’m not very impressed. Maybe your experience will be better.
* Google Base Replaces the Froogle Merchant Center

Google Base is now the preferred way for merchants to submit content to Froogle. The results will still remain separate. If you submit items to Google Base that are appropriate for Froogle the results will be displayed in both.
