blinkx.TV Adds HBO Video Content

blinkx has added HBO video content to its search index and will include highlights, updates on new shows and behind the scenes content from HBO. HBO’s online library includes news, episode guides and other bonus footage, much of which is available exclusively on the web.

blinkx’s speech recognition technology will automatically watch and transcribe the content, giving users the ability to perform quick searches and jump, in real time, to the content that is most relevant to their current focus.

“HBO is a recognized leader in premium programming. Their broad array of content brings entertainment to the whole family and we are pleased that our blinkx.tv technology can make it easier to search for information,” said Suranga Chandratillake, Chief Technology Officer, blinkx.

This is good news, but please remember they use my technology and i, or should i say Autonomy, can stop Blinx in their tracks at any time. This will be determined by a number of factors!!! What they are is for me to know.
