BizRocket Wins $800,000 in Damages from Interland Hosting

BizRocket.com, announced this week that they won a federal court jury verdict against Interland, Inc (the web hosting and marketing company). The jury verdict (which was decided in September) amounted to $800,000 in damages.

BizRocket.com had claimed damages against Interland, Inc., for incidents occuring in 1999 and 2000. BizRocket.com had alleged that Interland was responsible for the loss of and, or access to BizRocket’s search engine software and computer server which were under Interland Inc.’s control.

BizRocket’s lawsuit claimed Interland’s wrongful actions resulted in the subsequent disappearance of the BizRocket’s Internet web site and related software. BizRocket and Interland both have motions pending before the federal court.
