Very interesting news indeed! Have you had a chance to play around with Microsoft’s Keyword Services Platform (KSP) v6 yet? I’m personally a fan of some MSFT stock right about now! I think the timing is perfect. Not that Microsoft will push Google around, but they will gain share no doubt!

Interesting take. I could see Wolfram Alpha being a little too complex for the average user. I feel like this makes Bing more interesting, but Bing is still a terrible product with a stupid name. After all, we know what Bing really stands for: But It’s Not Google

I agree with David – this is a great move by Bing. Search engines are tools and as far as i’m concerned the more one does, the more you’ll use it. Things like this will only help grow it’s market share.

Fantastic news, Wolfram Alpha is awesome and this is something that actually gives users a reason to go to Bing instead of Google.

I can’t believe you don’t like it — it might not cater to the average searcher, but just having that will help Bing gain some loyal users from the long tail. A lot of niche markets use Wolfram Alpha and may become Bing users.

Seriously a great move, it seems their search team is really working hard on making Bing a great search engine and hopefully they can roll it out globally quickly.

Why rebuild the wheel when Wolfram has already built one :)
