Best Search Engine News Blog of 2006 : Search Engine Watch

Unlike the other SEO and SEM blog categories, this one is a bit more broad, focusing on the blogs which brought us the most search engine news in 2006. Search Engine Journal is a Search Engine News Blog, but since we’re hosting the competition, we’re not in the running icon smile Best Search Engine News Blog of 2006 : Search Engine Watch

Search Engine Watch Blog, which was captained by Danny Sullivan, Chris Sherman and Barry Schwartz (whose own blog was .05 points away from taking the prize!) during most of 2006 with the help of Bill Slawski, Phil Bradley, Brian Smith and Greg Sterling; was the winner of this year’s Search Blogs Awards. That old crew now steers the new Search Engine Land blog.

Now at the helm of Search Engine Watch are the very capable Elisabeth Osmeloski, Kevin Newcomb, Greg Jarboe, Frank Watson and Chris Boggs.
