Indu, while alerts are for mentions in comments, search on the site itself is for what’s being said about that topic. It includes the post, comments, and more to try find the best conversations.

I think its a great service. But is there any software/service that allows to monitor any keyword in a title of a blog post? and not in a comment.

I think a mix of keyword alert in a blog post title+in comments would be great.

just after google buzz about its integration with twitter to show real time searches , many big players are gearing up with the products or features of their own :)

Anyways this seems to be interesting.
