Ask Jeeves 9000 B-Sides
Check out the clips that were cut out of the original Ask Jeeves 9000 post. There has been speculation that Ask Jeeves is going to be renamed to just “Ask” or “Ask.com”.
Ask Jeeves has slowly been phasing out their “Ask Jeeves” name and moving towards “Ask.com” for a while now, so these speculations are not surprising.
I’m glad the Ask Jeeves team continues to promote the human side of search. For a while they focused too much on promoting their technology. I hope Diller and IAC can give Ask Jeeves what it needs without stifling the freedom and humor.
