Here's more on Yahoo's involvement with iPhone (from Yahoo):

Yahoo! and Apple have announced a new partnership to bring Yahoo! products, including Yahoo! Mail and the new Yahoo! oneSearch, to the new iPhone unveiled at MacWorld in San Francisco today. Yahoo! co-founder Jerry Yang joined Apple co-founder Steve Jobs on stage to discuss the new partnership.

This partnership exemplifies Yahoo!’s intent to be the #1 player in the mobile Internet and in mobile search. It also builds on the launch of the new Yahoo! Go for Mobile 2.0 and Yahoo! oneSearch services and partnerships with both major device manufacturers (Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and RIM) and mobile operators (3 Group, Rogers Wireless and more) on Monday at CES 2007 in Las Vegas .

Yahoo! services to be built into the new iPhone -

    * Yahoo! Mail - As the leading global email provider, Yahoo! Mail will bring the rich experience consumers want such as the ability to view photo attachments, search their email inbox, full synchronization and address book integration to help drive usage of Apple's new phone.
    * Yahoo! oneSearch - Just launched on Monday, Yahoo! oneSearch is an entirely new search service designed to give consumers exactly what they want on their mobile device – instant answers. oneSearch leverages Yahoo!’s deep experience, investment and expertise in search on the desktop as well as relationships with leading content providers to deliver an unmatched mobile search experience for consumers.

In case you missed the keynote, as Jerry Yang said on stage - "This has been an amazing week for mobile with Apple reinventing the phone and Yahoo! reinventing the mobile Internet with Yahoo! Go 2.0 and Yahoo! oneSearch. We are excited about this new opportunity with mobile to bring the power of the Internet to hundreds of millions of consumers on their phone."
