Alexa Site and Toolbar Down Today This Morning
This morning I’ve noticed that the entire Alexa.com site seems to be down and some other sites which feed off of Alexa, like Alexaholic, are not able to serve Alexa info. After opening my Internet Explorer browser to view some Alexa stats on its toolbar, I also noticed that the Alexa toolbar is not working and serving the NO DATA message on all web sites.
Using Alexaholic, I tried to run an Alexa trends graph for the Photobucket post which was published earlier today on Search Engine Journal. Alexaholic was able to serve up files from thumbshots.alexa.com, but no other information.
This seems to be a fairly large outage with Alexa, given that both their toolbar and their site is down, although graph images posted on pages seem to be ok. One has to wonder if there is a problem with the service or if they are launching an upgraded Alexa site sometime this week.
NOTE: Alexa.com is working again, but this morning several other users, including myself, confirmed its down time.

Alexa.com is down today, and has been down more often than not for the last 2 or 3 weeks.
Why would a company as big as Amazon allow such a lousy uptime record?

Yeah I’m trying to get to the traffic page of my website for 2 weeks now. It never loads completly. They have some major servers issue I think.
I am looking for the toolbar to put in my site. I wanted to know how my site is performing.The one downloadable for browsers were detected as a virus by my antivirus software
Is alexa down today too? They are not updating my web traffic rank.
Alexa is down this morning. I know they have been trying to change the way they rank websites. I am sure this might have something to do with that.
I have also noticed that they have been slow to update ranking information. For example, based on their chart data which is available on their site, the traffic is shown up to June 1st. It should really be June 2nd.
Anyone know how to get Alexa toolbar working with IE8???
