For me Bing and Yahoo lost the game long time ago.

Twitter search...cool feature but really, will you go to bing just to search twitter? when you can just go to twitter and do the same...

My favourite feature in Google Analytics so far is the Visualisation one, totally love it.

lol @ Sandeep - very well, carry on... glad to have U along for the ride.

@Nick - I've been reading/writing about social search implications since it was implicit/explicit user feedback signals for personalized search. There is really a convergance of the two when it comes to social search. That's really, to me, a different place than RTS (real-time search).

To that end, after test spamming Twitter search, Bing/Twitter, OneRiot and others... I'd say the more granular social search/personalization approach (mostly via explicit data) is more likely to have a long term impact.

And yes, adoption will always be the real key - time will tell...

Thanks for dropping in.... I'll cya round I'm sure...

I think since social search is the next era of online search the giants of the industry are scrambling around to be the first to really put it on the map. Realistically it will be some time before it really works well and people use it.
