I’ve got a suggestion to build on #4 with the To-Do label; combined with Gmail’s multiple inboxes, you get a ready made To-Do list sitting above your inbox. And with a hat tip to GTD, too many to-do’s and your inbox disappears ‘below the fold’, so the impetus is on to complete your to-do’s if you want to read your latest mail!

Good tips. I didn’t realize that Gmail could do all that and I never understood the star thing. Thanks for the tips, I think I’ll go try some of these out and see if I can’t focus a little better ;-)
