I am looking for my natural mother Joyce Hemingway, who was married to the late John Topping in the early 1960′s. They lived on Bedford Street in Burnley Lancashire. Up until his death my dad never told me the truth about my mother, who i am most desperate to find. I was brought up by my Grandparents Alfred and Evelyn Topping on Woodhouse Street in Burnley. Poeple have told me that i have a strong look of my natural mother, but nothing more. If you are still alive and out their somewhere i would be grateful if you would get in touch with me, after all there are two sides to every story. All i was told is that my mother didn’t want me. I now have barely any living relative’s at all and i know my dad’s wife Maureen never wanted me. So if your out their mum, or anybody reads this who can help me be reunited with my natural mothe Joyce Hemingway if would be extremely grateful if they would get in touch at susanmaryoc@hotmail.co.uk

None of these guys can find everyone, but some are better than others when it comes to certain types of searches. I have been on the Web for a few years and didn’t know, until recently, that you could have your own personal people search engine. Naturally, I went out and got one. And I look around and see the “magic code” that give the ads. Then there is the “monetized links” to photos. The Web is such a deceptive place. I love it. Long live the Web.

Thanks for the post Ann. These are very helpful. I have a handful of searches I have to make sometime this week. Guess what… my high school classmates!

Not really sure why a quick search on Yahoo’s and Google’s dbase aren’t helping. I think I have to go into these four people finders you mentioned and look for them there.

Now I know a handful are either on Facebook, Friendster & Hi5. It would be nice to try the paid people finders too… not sure if the results are worth paying for though. Has anyone tried it out? I’d really like to know.
