2006 SEJ Search Blogs Awards — Check Your Votes!

Well, Murphy’s Law kicked in this afternoon, and after attempting to disable comments on the original 2006 SEJ Search Blogs Awards post, the entire thing disappeared.

Thin air. Poof. Houdini action.

We’re all hoping that Matt Cutts can grab us a cached version of the original page that is newer than this one, but in the event that he can’t, please review our backup post and make sure that your vote got in.

Head over to the 2006 SEJ Search Blogs Awards Backup Page.

I know that the original thread had well over 60 comments on it, but our recovered version has only 46. Therefore, at least a few of you got snubbed, and of course, we want to make sure that your vote counts!

So, please give our interim post the once-over, and if your vote did the disappearing act, go ahead and add it to the comments on our backup page.

I poked around and didn’t find anything newer. I even use Google Desktop for just such occasions (it saves local versions of the pages that you surf so that you can retrieve them later), but the Googlebot visited the page more recently than I did; my personal cache only had 38 comments. Sorry. :(

    Chris,

I have a cached version with 60+ comments. Send me an email with your address and I’ll send it to you.
