Ionut Alex at Google Operating System posts that some GMail users are experiencing 15 GB of memory space:
Some users of Google Apps for Your Domain report that their Gmail accounts have 15 GB of storage space. There are at least two people who noticed it, so it’s hard to consider this a mistake.
Officially, Gmail accounts included in Google Apps for Your Domain have 2 GB. Does Google want to be generous or it’s just an original promotion for a paid service, with a big storage and support?
15 Gigs of GMail is a lot to chew, even for a small business to handle. Perhaps Google does have a new Corporate GMail or Paid Mega Service up their sleeve. Question is, what would you need 15 GB of email space for?

This did unfortunately not happen to me. Space was one of the reasons I put in the Sign-up Form for Google for your Domain and found out that the Whole account has even less Space available than a single GMail account has. Quite a bummer. Since GMail is designed that you don’t have to worry about sorting old emails away and maybe delete some which you don’t need anymore, will it be interesting to see what happens, when I run out of disk space.
I delete 1000+ Spam Emails every week, alright, but still are the chances better than average that I will run into problems end of next year or beginning the year after that.
Well, plenty of time for the 15 GB glitch to happen to my account :)

somtimes i feel that storing a lot of emails on Gmail server is not a good idea. you never know what and how that information is being used. I would personally download ALL the emails and delete from the server and store it locally on Outlook or any email client.
what do you feel?
