Impressive move by Google. They are following a similar strategy to Microsoft by giving away stuff that many people would pay for until the competitors that can’t afford or won’t do it simply vanish or become very distant competitors.
To the other search engines that aren’t keeping up I believe Pink Floyd said it best in their song “Time”… no one told you when to run; you missed the starting gun.
