The PC isn't connected to the router at all. The router is in another room connected to an XP Media Center box and I've actually tried it with two Linksys routers (a G and a draft N) and a Netgear with the same result. I agree big time on that one. As for Vista rebooting it could be just the router or wifi adapter your using with Vista that is the problem. I am using Linksys equipment with Vista and it works great.
